Roadmap Conference in Portland, Oregon

The Roadmap Conference is underway at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.

The Roadmap Conference is the nation's largest annual conference on electric and smart mobility. Roadmap includes over 100 national and international speakers, interactive sessions and dozens of exhibits. Transportation exhibitors also conduct smart mobility tours in the region. The conference is held each summer in the Pacific Northwest.

Attendees come to attend the educational sessions, view the exhibits and to make connections with key leaders in the industry, government, and utilities.

The conference covers four trends in automotive technologies:

Smart mobility
Shared transportation

There are four tracks at the conference:

Cars. The Cars track focuses on the electrification of cars, trucks, buses, and other vehicles, and new forms of shared and autonomous mobility.

Charging. The Charging Infrastructure track explores how to make charging easier, faster, more commonplace, and how to maximize its benefits to the electrical grid.

Community. The Community track explores the broader ecosystem needed for the market to expand, and steps that are being taken to ensure new mobility services reach the populations that will benefit from them.

Cutting Edge. The Cutting Edge track features Ignite-style talks of 5-7 minutes and workshops on emerging topics.

Forth Roadmap Awards

New to the Roadmap conference agenda are the annual Roadmap Awards. “The Roadmap Awards celebrate individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves by their exemplary dedication to electric, smart and shared mobility.” The Awards were presented during the Evening Reception on Tuesday, June 18.
