East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition along with the Knoxville Electric Vehicle Association are planning several events around Knoxville. Starting on September 12th the event at The Island in Pigeon Forge, 131 Island Dr., Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 from 10 AM to 6 PM. They chose the location because it is at the bustling entrance to the Smokey Mountain foothills. Home to a huge ferris wheel and at the door to Dollywood, 1000s of people will be able to see the electric cars and talk to owners about what it is like to own an EV.

To inaugurate the recently installed Tesla Superchargers, Knoxville organizers are planning a meet up at the Turkey Creek Shopping area behind Starbucks at 11036 Parkside Drive, Knoxville, TN 37934 on Friday, September 18th. They’ll be meeting at 4:00 PM and talking to interested visitors.

On September 19, organizers are meeting at Gate 21 at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville before the University of Tennessee vs. Western Carolina Catamounts game. The organizers have secured spots close to the stadium entrance. Neyland Stadium seats more than 100,000 spectators, so the organizers are expecting plenty of foot traffic.
