Honda has begun deliveries of the FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.

The company will only produce about 200 units a year, but it's the first hydrogen-powered passenger car to be commercially produced and driven by members of the general public.

Honda is not selling the FCX Clarity, only leasing it in California and Japan. The three year contract is $600/month, including maintenance and insurance. Only those living close enough to the few hydrogen refueling stations in Torrance, Santa Monica, and Irvine qualify for the lease.
