A series of Electric Car Guest Drive gatherings were hosted by EV Quorum car club in cities throughout California in May. The meet-ups featured a total of nine Tesla Model S' and several examples of almost every electric car made within the past ten years. The events were held in 12 cities from San Diego to the San Francisco Bay Area. Participants drove the Tesla Model S, Fiat 500e, Ford Focus Electric, Honda Fit EV and Toyota RAV4 EV. The Chevrolet Volt and Spark were also available for driving at some of the meet-ups. Static displays of the Tesla Roadster, BMW ActiveE, Cadillac ELR, Ford C-Max Energi, Prius Plug-in, Smart ED, Ford Ranger EV and Coda sedan were also available at some of the events. Displays of the most popular Electric Vehicle charging stations from Aerovironment, ClipperCreek, EVoCharge, OpenEVSE, Schneider and Tesla were available for hands-on viewing at each event. Educational representatives from Verengo Solar, Phat Energy, Sullivan Solar, Stellar Solar and Solar City were on hand to discuss methods of fueling EVs using domestic, renewable, zero emission sunshine.

Local chapters of the Electric Auto Association and other local clubs including Monterey Bay Electric Vehicle Alliance and Electric Vehicle Entrepreneurs of Silicon Valley co-hosted several of the events.
